I’m David Schonleber, the proud owner of VisionQuest Home Inspections, LLC.

I look forward to sharing my story. I hope that you will enjoy getting to know me better.

I have always craved to be in control of my own destiny and have flexible working hours. Besides, I have enjoyed problem-solving and completing jobs to an impeccable standard. These factors convinced me to set up my loss control inspection business in 2001.

When I started eighteen years ago, my primary business was inspecting commercial buildings as well as residential structures, but January of 2018 I wanted to direct all my efforts in helping homeowners on their decision to purchase a home, so now my focus is solely on home inspections and providing a specialized service.

My vision is to inspect every home as if it were my own. The safety and function of the home is my top priority, therefore I make sure that my inspectors are certified professionals, insured, and happy to attend educational classes.

Investing in the latest courses enables me to give clients accurate information about the condition of a house to make a sound decision on the purchase of a new home, or put them at ease on the state of their current home.

I believe what gives me the edge is my commitment to excellence in every aspect of the process. I uphold a level of integrity bound by fairness, honesty, and personal responsibility, which has made me successful.

I attribute a large part of my success to the support of my lovely wife who carries out the marketing and takes care of the appointment book. Thanks to modern technology, she can work from anywhere and communicate with customers even while on the go. Since she runs the office, it allows me to have the ability to be available at the last minute for clients during their due diligence period. I also make myself available on weekends to accommodate clients that work during the week.

I enjoy meeting interesting people and listen carefully to understand their needs. I genuinely care about helping my clients make the right decision when purchasing a home. Seeing my clients happy with their new purchase provides immense gratification. For those clients just wanting to know the condition of their home, it is very satisfying to see their smiling faces when I tell them their home is in good condition and have no major issues.

After an inspection is complete, I make myself available to answer any questions or concerns that the customer may have for as long as they own that home, which cements lifetime bonds. I have also developed strong relationships with agents due to the quality of my work and receive client referrals and great reviews.

When not inspecting homes, my wife and I turn our attention to our own residence. We love the outdoors and take pride in harvesting our garden and landscaping. My wife is a home decorator and home stager, so I enjoy helping her remodel and upgrade the inside of our home.
